Ingredients
Bread slices – 4
Cooked chicken – 150–200 g, shredded or sliced
Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
Onion – ½, thinly sliced
Tomato – ½, thinly sliced
Lettuce – 2–3 leaves
Cheese slices – 2 (optional)
Salt & pepper – to taste
Butter – 1–2 tsp
Execution
1. Prepare Chicken Filling
Mix shredded chicken with mayonnaise, salt, and pepper → adjust seasoning.
2. Assemble Sandwich
Butter bread slices lightly.
Place lettuce → tomato → onion → chicken filling → cheese (if using) → top with another bread slice.
3. Serve
Cut diagonally → serve as-is or toast on a pan/grill for 2–3 mins until golden.
Additional tips
Use freshly cooked or roasted chicken for best flavor.
Toasting the sandwich adds crunch and melts the cheese nicely.
Add cucumber, bell peppers, or herbs for extra freshness and crunch.
