Ingredients
Eggs – 2–3
Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
Tomato – 1 small, finely chopped
Green chili – 1, finely chopped (optional)
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – ¼ tsp
Grated cheese – 2–3 tbsp (cheddar or processed)
Oil / Butter – 1–2 tsp
Fresh coriander – 1 tbsp, chopped (optional)
Execution
1. Prepare Egg Mixture
Beat eggs → add chopped onion, tomato, green chili, salt, and pepper → mix well.
2. Cook Omelette
Heat butter/oil in a pan → pour egg mixture → cook on medium-low flame till bottom sets.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top → fold omelette → cook 1–2 mins until cheese melts.
3. Serve
Garnish with coriander.
Serve hot with toast, paratha, or as a wrap.
Additional tips
Use medium-low flame to keep the omelette soft and prevent burning.
Cover the pan briefly after adding cheese to help it melt evenly.
Add capsicum, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
